Danehurst - New Student Accoommodation
We (Danehurst) are emailing the Englefield Green Village Residents Association to advise it of our plans to redevelop part 91, 97 and 98 Harvest Road (adjacent to Royal Holloway’s recent George Elliot accommodation development) and our public consultation event to be held early June.
Danehurst are the developers behind the student accommodation at The Pad, 71 Egham Hill and Podium, 70 Egham Hill. We have agreed to acquire 97 and 98 Harvest Road and an adjacent land strip to the Church of Our Lady of the Assumption to provide accommodation for students who attend Royal Holloway, University of London. Like our previous development, this site is conveniently located within easy walking distance of RHUL and shares a boundary with university land.
We have been in discussion with the Runnymede planners since August 2017 through the pre-application process and have now reached the stage where we are offering local residents the opportunity to view and comment on our proposals before we finalise our designs and submit a planning application.
To this effect, we are holding a public consultation on the following dates:
Wednesday 6th June 2018 at The Village Centre in Victoria Street between 3.00pm and 9.00pm
And
Friday 8th June 2018 at The Jurgens Centre, 91 Harvest Road between 3.00pm and 8.00pm
